Privacy Policy

emlakbook is a closed network for licensed real estate agents in Turkey. This describes what we process, why, and for how long, under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, no. 6698). Data controller: Yigitcan Kutay Guler, me@ykg.im. The Turkish text governs.

What we collect

Account. Name, email address, phone number, licence number, agency, working districts, and an optional short bio.

Licence certificate image. Uploaded once at signup. Only an operator can read it — there is no route in the app by which any agent, including you, can read a certificate back.

Listings and briefs. Property details, price, location, photographs and an optional walkthrough video.

Messages between agents, and a record of your activity in the network: match answers, sales, client-link opens.

Your clients' data

Your client never enters this app and has no account here. Writing a client's name, phone number or address into a brief is forbidden; a pseudonym is used instead.

That pseudonym and your private note are never visible to any other agent — only to you.

We collect no personal data from a person who opens a client link. We count how many times it was opened, nothing else.

Retention

The certificate image is deleted automatically 12 months after upload. What remains is the licence number, the operator's decision, who made it and when. The image itself does not remain.

Listings and briefs leave the network after 60 days. The row is kept, because matches, messages and history point at it.

Messages cannot be edited or deleted. A commission split put in writing must not be changeable afterwards — that is part of how the network works.

Deleting your account deletes your personal data. Records the other party is also part of — messages, introduction records — are anonymised rather than removed, because they are that agent's own history.

Who we share with

We do not sell your data and we give it to nobody for advertising.

Providers used to run the service: Supabase (database and authentication, EU — London region), Cloudflare (photograph and document storage), and Apple for the subscription. Payment details stay with Apple; no card data reaches us.

Cookies

The app uses no cookies.

The client-link web page sets a single session cookie whose only job is to stop a page refresh counting as a second view. It does not track anyone.

Your rights

Under KVKK Article 11 you may ask whether your data is processed, request information, ask for correction or deletion, and object to processing.
